Fresh Chicken + New Enterprise

DEAR FRIENDS: WARM GREETINGS TO ALL ON A WARM SUMMER DAY. We hope everyone is doing well and enjoying summer. As I write, it is 102 degrees in the shade. I just checked on the dairy cows to see how they are taking the heat. To my surprise some of them are standing out in the sun instead of under the shade trees. This spring we started feeding them some new mineral blends, free choice. We are very happy with the results. They seem to take the heat better than in other years. Hopefully these benefits can be passed on to whoever drinks their delicious raw milk.

New Enterprise - HONEY BEES

WE ARE EXCITED TO ANNOUNCE THAT WE NOW HAVE OUR OWN HONEY BEES! However, we probably won’t be able to get much honey off of them this year. We are, however, collecting bee pollen from them, which we now have available at the market. We will also be getting some from Double Echo Apiaries (our honey supplier) to keep up with the demand.

WHAT ARE THE HEALTH BENEFITS OF POLLEN? Bee pollen is highly nutritious and extremely beneficial to humans. There are 22 basic elements in the human body - enzymes, hormones, vitamins, amino acids, and others that must be renewed by nutrient intake. No one food contains them all - except bee pollen!
